End of Summer

So the summer is over and I just moved back to Athens, GA for fall semester at UGA. I have had a great summer, especially with Nationals in Colorado. The rest of the summer was pretty low-key, and most of my kayaking was training on flatwater. Thanks to my coach Maurizio Tognocci, I had a really great in depth training plan that kept me going to the river almost daily. I am really grateful that I was able to get in a lot of water time while I still could at home. Now I am going to start doing some more cross training with running and rowing for UGA Crew this fall. Hopefully I can get involved with the Whitewater Club at UGA and just mess around in playboats and creekboats and focus on my whitewater skills rather than my speed.
